KFI’s Bill Handel recently suggested reducing the U.S. population to save the government money. There was some inane discussion including on euthanasia, and then some bigoted comments about getting rid of Armenians and selling Glendale. So far, tacky garbage par for the course on shock-radio. Next, Handel & Co.’s mocked a Greg Garabedian who emailed to criticize the bigotry. Then came the unbelievable shocker: one of Handel’s cohorts says, “what the Turks started, Bill will finish.” Imagine the uproar if a comment like that were made at the expense of Blacks or Jews (ironically, Handel’s father is a Holocaust survivor).
Listening to the link below might turn your stomach, especially if you’re Armenian and have kids. Don’t let it stop there – take action. While the law often permits what conscience should forbid, there is no reason why we shouldn’t express our profound disgust as a community. Take 10 minutes and do something about this.

Here are some of your options:
Call KFI: (818) 559-2252 (main); (818) 566-6476 (programming)
Write KFI: KFI AM640, Attn: Robin Bertolucci, Program Director, 3400 West Olive Avenue, Suite 550, Burbank CA 91505, robinBertolucci@clearchannel.com
Write Clear Channel (KFI’s corporate headquarters): 200 East Basse Road, San Antonio, TX 78209, 210-822-2828, webmaster@clearchannel.com
File a complaint with the FCC: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
PERHAPS MOST IMPORTANTLY, contact KFI advertisers and demand that they pull their ads from a station that advocates continuing genocide. You can find advertisers by looking at KFI’s site: http://www.kfiam640.com/main.html
Do all of this so that we inundate KFI with calls, fill up their voice mail systems, have the
FCC inquire and have principled advertisers pull ads.
